Bidets

A bidet is a type of sink used for washing one’s genitalia and anus after using the toilet. They look like a very short toilet and are often placed next to the toilet in fancy hotels in the US, and in any restroom in Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. The toilet and bidet is a more common sight in these countries, and because of this, the bidet and toilet are often mistaken for each other by foreigners.

How To Use A Bidet

Bidet proper use is to clean the anus and the external genitals after using the toilet. A man or woman using a bidet will want to use it immediately following the use of the toilet. Some people prefer to use toilet paper first, while other people, particularly people in India, feel that using a bidet is much more hygienic than using toilet paper.

The user straddles the bidet and, depending on the type of bidet, uses the water nozzles or faucets to clean their anal and genital areas. There are several ways to use a bidet depending on the style. Some bidets spray a stream of water in the air to directly hit the area to be washed. Others fill a basin and the water is used to wash from the basin. Some toilets have a nozzle attached that serves as the bidet.

Bidets: Why Do I Need One?

In the US, many people do not include bidets when remodeling or building a new bathroom. However, many cultures consider bidets to be much more hygienic than toilet paper, and as such, would not consider remodeling a bathroom without one. There are many kinds of bidets, including a portable bidet, adjustable bidets, an antique bidet style, and many others. All over the world, there are toilet bidet suppliers that manufacture bidets for home use. A Toto bidet, a Toto Neorest bidet, and even a bidet seat can be found at retailers online and even in some home remodeling outlets.

If you live in Europe, Latin America, or the Middle East, it may be easier for you to find a local company that will manufacture a bidet for your home. For those who live in the US, however, there may be some issues finding someone who will make a bidet. The best bet is to find someone online who will ship internationally. Don’t worry, though: some toilet manufacturers make bidets, too. Do some research to find out who those manufacturers are.
